Guided Meditation: Clarify What’s Important Right Now
- Come to a relaxed and alert posture. Just take a few deep breaths to center yourself, using your breath as an anchor to be here now.
- Let’s practice the three breaths together. With the first breath, simply relaxing the body. With the second breath, softening any tension in the mind. And with the third breath, asking yourself what is most important right now?
- Listen within. Once the mind is stabilized, stay with the question “What is most important right now?” Listen and trust whatever is emerging. Listen within to your intentions, priorities, and possibilities to move forward with ease.
- Trust yourself. You will know what you need to focus on in the present moment. If you still feel like your mind is running in circles, jot down all the tasks and prioritize them based on your intentions and goals. When you feel ready, proceed with trust and intentionality. Return to your breath as an anchor whenever you feel overwhelmed.
