Study indicates mindfulness may help firefighters
An article in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology references a new study about the positive effects of 正念 on urban firefighters.

The study, conducted by researchers at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, investigated the association between 正念, other resilience resources, and several measures of health in 124 urban firefighters.
Results indicated that “正念 was associated with fewer PTSD symptoms, depressive symptoms, physical symptoms, and alcohol problems […].”
